We are seeking a highly motivated Lecturer in Scientific Communication, Management, and Ethics to teach and support courses that foster scientific integrity, communication skills, project execution, and policy understanding within our MSc in Bioinformatics and Biomedical Data Science. This track emphasizes transferable skills necessary for impactful careers in academia, biotech, public health, and innovation.
The position may be full-time or part-time with flexible start dates. A minimum of one semester per academic year of in-person presence in Kyiv is preferred (even though we can also consider remote options) to ensure effective teaching and student engagement. We will assist with accommodation search and local logistics during this period.
Requirements for the position:
MSc or PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Health Policy, Management, Science Communications, or a related field. Exceptional BSc graduates may be considered for Teaching Assistant roles.
Experience in at least one of the following: scientific communication, bioethics, project management, innovation, or health systems.
Ability to guide students in transferable skills development and cross-sectoral impact.
Familiarity with open science practices, responsible research, or entrepreneurship.
Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to interdisciplinary education and academic integrity.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver lectures, labs, or courses in your area of specialization.
Contribute to course development and integration within the applied bioinformatics track.
Collaborate with faculty and partners to integrate professional development into the academic experience.
Contribute to program development in alignment with international standards and local needs.
